rumour mill - 25th march 2015
Well, it looks like I didn’t annoy anyone too much, and I’ve actually been allocated another piece of air time with which to fulfill your rumor needs. I want to make it clear however, a lot of what I hear in conjecture, so take it as you will and certainly don’t shoot the messenger…shoot the bastards who give me the wrong information
Kicking off with the boss, Orlando Cruze, who seems to be going through the dying stages now of his tenure, and is resigning power to the new owners of IWC who seem to be Sebastian and Callista. Now, for those that don’t know these two, they may be Hollywood superstars, but they are no soft touch, and if the roster think they are about to get an easy ride, they are totally wrong. However, I also believe that this isn’t as clear cut as it may seem, and that something has been written into the contract that caused the delay. What this is I don’t know, but it may be something to do with the brand split, and actually who will be running both shows.
More on the music video with Sparkles, it seems that after listening to his song, Arianna Grande has contacted him for collaboration. Apparently she loves cheese as well
Going back to Orlando however, a lot of people have been asking me if I know what he is going to do next, once he has sold the IWC. It seems however that his comments are genuine; he has indeed had enough of the business, and will fade quietly away to spend time with his family. I know the gossip columns are full of rumors of him possibly managing in the SCW, or even in the ULW, but these seem far from the mark, and that selling the IWC will be Orlando’s final act in the wrestling industry.
Who is the Tombstone? No one seems to be certain, but it seems that whatever Rachel told Orlando, it has pacified him somewhat, and he is willing to trust them. Aiken Frost has yet to comment, but it seems that this group know all about Aiken, so are the Tombstone actually wrestling’s answer to New Eden
Tina Valentine has been actively looking for members to join her Slay Revolution, and it looks like her request may have fallen on deaf ears. However, she does have an ally it seems in Kloe Masters, and on NewAge it looked like they may be joining forces. What this means for the IWC we will have to wait and find out, because Kloe is giving nothing away.
Apparently if you pause your TiVo boxes during the Chapel/Kelly attack on Selena Frost, you can clearly see a ‘nipslip’ from Miss Chapel, or at least I am reliably informed, you can only pause it a few times without the missus catching you.
Love them or hate them, it seems that Kat and Lexy have gotten the whole wrestling world talking about them (and not just the nipslip), and it seems that the IWC may have them down to reignite the tag team division. This hasn’t gone well however with Bad Behavior who behind closed doors have spoken of ending their momentum before it can get started. Rumours claiming that Lexy Chapel is actually Lucas Knight’s daughter I cannot confirm or deny, though it may not be as ridiculous as first thought. Alana Starr however is apparently going to do something about this, and has been talking of an unbreakable rematch clause to anyone who will listen
I mentioned a while ago that Chris Davids was possibly looking at a title push, all seems to have gone quiet on that, based on the fact he seems to have been lost in the mix, and Danny Darko has overtaken him in the next big thing stakes. The IWC is said to actually be impressed with what he has done for the sake of his career, and may be willing to thank him with a shot at Gavin Taylor’s Evolution title. This however will not sit well with Andre Jordan who has seemingly tasked his agent Tabitha with getting him Gavin Taylor at Invictus.
Mya Denton’s Confidential certainly got people talking, especially her praise of none other than Mika Kozlov. It seems that Aiken Frost noticed her, and her comments may actually gain her a world title shot in the future. Also last night it was thought that Mya’s Twitter may have been hacked. However, it seems this wasn’t the case, and in fact it looks like ‘April’ is back in control of her
I spoke of wrestlers that may be at ‘risk’, and it seems Prii Foote took my words to heart. However, Prii could be looking to distance herself from those that she feels ‘held her back’, and could be looking to make an impact sooner rather than later. Glad to be of help Prii.
What is it with all these wrestlers and these ‘charity’ auctions? Maybe the IWC isn’t paying the talent enough and they need top ups. Rumours that the Selena Frost jacket actually went for a dollar are unfounded
At the end of NewAge, Scott Cannon was faced with Tombstone, could he be the next in line to be ‘cured’? If so, is the return of Taylor Chase-Cruze really imminent, or is as mused, Taylor finished with the IWC. A poll online certainly a show that the fans believe she will walk away the same time as Orlando does. However, I hear it won’t be without one final impact, an impact which will have far reaching ramifications, especially for Frost and New Eden.
Is Psychomachia a group on the verge of implosion? If events in ULW are anything to go by I would say so, as Abigail Lindsay seems to be letting her heart rule her head.
At NewAge, Orlando mentioned that a ‘legend’ will be hosting Invictus, and this has got the wrestling world wondering who it was he was talking about? I wouldn’t take it as read that he was talking about a wrestling legend, as that could be a swerve. But if it is, many have been mentioned, but more than most the name of Johnny Kingdom has come up. If Kingdom is to host Invictus, could a return to competition be on the cards?
IWC’s sexiest male William Mason has apparently been approached by a popular sandwich chain to promote their products. Seemingly, he is seen as someone who has many fillings, so many he cannot decide on one…much like the sandwich chain
Are Brittany and Abigail heading towards a huge confrontation and if so, will Dawn Lohan be dragged into it. Of late we have seen a different Brittany Lohan, but is her desire to get her hands on Abigail out of hatred, or actually an attempt to ‘save’ her sister from the clutches of New Eden?
The main event picture at Invictus may be as cloudy as ever, but I’m hearing that the NHB title picture could become very clear at Riot, when Rachel’s next opponent, possibly at Invictus could be announced. The interesting thing is that very opponent is mooted to be none other than…Aiken Frost.
Has Amanda Blayze grown sick of becoming everyones whipping girl, and has she joined with Silas Mason? This seems to go against the grain what with Mason’s comments about downsized, but is Silas going for quality over quantity. It’s my belief that whatever you think about Silas, he could take Amanda places, something she desires more than anything, so could he turn her head? Not only Amanda, but I mentioned Andre Jordan earlier, who seems to have more of an edge to him since his return. Could Silverstone International lose Andre if she can’t get him the shot he believes he deserves, and would he really join Silas Mason?
Remember Cassidy Haze? No…apparently the IWC doesn’t either. But Cassidy is about to do something about that, something that concerns none other than Marina Valdivia. QOTR title? No, nothing to do with that, more a secret that Cassidy knows about Marina that she would rather the world didn’t know.
Another poll taken last week showed that the industry believed that Marie Jones was the one who should have gotten the title shot, and that Katelyn shouldn’t have been allowed back into the ring in much the same vein as Vanilla Skyy. I’m hearing that Blaire’s decision on the main event may yet be overturned, and that there is the potential that Mika Kozlov will be asked to defend the title three times in one night…against Marie Jones, Katelyn Buehler and…Vanilla Skyy. This will of course rankle Abigail who already believes Orlando has some kind of grudge against her…however; it seems this decision wasn’t made by Orlando, and Abigail may have another enemy that she is not yet aware of.
It looks like finally William Mason is going to get his wish, and the Pure title is going to be sanctioned by the IWC, or at least it will be when Sebastian Blake takes charge. Again, not confirmed, but Sebastian and Callista apparently see William as an underused talent, and his time may be about to come
Talking of William expect fireworks when he appears on Christian Saviors new and improved Twilight Zone. Savior could be about to make Mason an offer he will find difficult to ignore
With a huge match expected on RIOT between Lukas Montgomery and Mika Kozlov, the world is asking what will Aaron do. Personally, I would think that to be obviously…Aaron loves Mika and will do anything to get her back, including destroying his former Blacklist ‘brother’. Expect to see the Blacklist destroyed on Monday night.
Finally…my sources have been telling me that over the next couple of shows, and on the run up to Invictus, keep a close eye on none other than Dan Douglas, who we all know is never quite what he seems. You want to know what he is up to…you only have to take a look in the IWC archives to figure that out, but Savior meeting with Ethan was not the coincidence it was made to look. And believe me, the Harbinger is no coincidence either? Robin Brooks, a former legend hosting Invictus…is the old guard rising to ‘save’ the IWC? Do the math.
