IWC: Good afternoon and welcome to another edition of Interrogates, where we grill the living daylights out of your favourite IWC superstars. I’m Alan Lamont, and today I have with me none other than Mya Denton…Mya, welcome to Interrogates.
Mya: Thanks for having me Alan, hello to all those crazy IWC fans.
IWC: First of all Mya, I’m sure I’m not speaking out of turn when I say that your career in the IWC hasn’t gone as smoothly as you would have liked.
Mya: So true, nothing goes as planned sometimes. Pain and Pleasure didn't go as planned as you can see
IWC: And what do you attribute that to Mya, and do you think it is something that could have been avoided?
Mya: Oh I wish it could have been avoided. I wish that Danny would have just opened his eyes and see what Mordecai was doing.
IWC: Do you think Danny Darko will ever live to regret his actions; after all he has pretty much sacrificed his marriage for the sake of his career?
Mya: In all honesty Alan, I don't know what Danny is thinking or if he regrets anything. I don't regret what I done to help him. I asked the man to come back and was there for him if he didn't want to. I was his friend but because I didn't accept his monster that tried to literally send me, Chris, and now ex-wife to hell, he felt the need to turn his back on those that gave a shit about him. That's on him.
IWC: And what about Mordecai? Personally I have to say that Mordecai has done nothing but tried to help out Pain and Pleasure
Mya: Yes that is true, he did try to help us but if we would have accepted him, how long would it have been before Danny would have told him to take us out. I don't trust easy Alan, I am trying to work on it. Danny didn't care about my concerns, that should of told me right there that the minute he dropped it that it wasn't over. I honestly still believe that Sinistry is controlling Mordecai and now Danny in return.
IWC: Is Pain and Pleasure still a faction? I mean you were just starting to make some ground on the company…do you think that you can carry on without Danny?
Mya: I don't have a clue. I would like to carry on but I need to speak with Chris and Vee about that.
IWC: There have been rumors, mainly from Daniel Fortune, that you and Chris Davids may be about to enter the tag team division…is this true?
Mya: That's a new one to me but I wouldn't complain if Chris was my partner. Guy is a hell of a wrestler and I have gone to war with him many times in the last 6 months. I would like to continue to do so.
IWC: Ok, on Interrogates we like to take questions from the public, you ready for your first question from the fans?
Mya: Bring it on
IWC: Ian, from Doncaster in England asks, is there any plans for your husband to ever come to the IWC?
Mya: I have asked Maddox to come to IWC but right now his schedule with other companies has not allowed him to do so. Never say never though.
IWC: Does it work? Having your husband in the business so to speak?
Mya: It did when we were in the same company. *laughs* We don't get to see each other much but we do trust each other and I do love Maddox and how does that saying go, "Absence does make the heart go fonder."
IWC: Ok, moving on from that, up to yet, you have yet to claim a title in the IWC. Do you think that is through a lack of opportunity, or mainly due to the fact you haven’t quite lived up to expectations?
Mya: Lack of mostly. Fighting to many wars on behalf of the company. I would like more of a chance to go after a title or 2 in the future.
IWC: And if you had to, who would you hold to blame for that?
Mya: Can't place blame on anyone but myself. I am my own worse enemy and when I take up a cause, it is hard to let it go till I get the job done.
IWC: So, fantasy wrestling time, which title is it you would love to hold more than any other, and if you did receive a shot at that title, who would it be you would want to face?
Mya: I want the Pure title and if I had my way I be fighting William Mason for it. Him, Serenity, or Jessika, it doesn't matter to me who has it, I want it and I am sure they will give me a fighting challenge to win it.
IWC: Do you think you’ll ever achieve that goal? I mean, I saw over in ULW you were ridiculed quite a lot by Eric Herrera for never quite reaching the levels expected of you
Mya: Hell I hope so but Eric Herrera isn't around at the moment due to whatever reason he sees fit. I don't know why he wanted to single me out for it but I proved to him before he left ULW that I wasn't to be stepped on.
IWC: Ok, second question from the public. Gary from Indiana asks, if you had to make the choice like Danny Darko…would you choose your marriage, or your career?
Mya: See that is hard, as I said earlier I love Maddox but I also can't imagine not being able to wrestle. I love both and I can't make that choice. Sorry Gary, unlike Darko, I won't make that choice.
IWC: That’s an interesting answer, and one I’m sure Danny Darko is listening to. Moving on however, the IWC has an amazing talent pool, which some of the very beat in the business. Who would you say is the best wrestler in the company right now?
Mya: Hmm, Mika.
IWC: And which wrestler do you most look up to?
Mya: There is 2 actually that I look up to, Vanilla Sky and Katelyn Buehlar
IWC: Flipside that, who would you say is the most overrated right now in the IWC?
Mya: Tina Valentine
IWC: And why do you think that?
Mya: Only so many times when you can see her on the dam screen bitching and moaning how she deserves it all. I am tired of it.
IWC: Do you think that Orlando Cruze had any bearing on that?
Mya: I am sure if Orlando had his way he wouldn't have her winning jack shit.
IWC: And with Orlando leaving soon, how do you think his tenure will be remembered?
Mya: Being fair and balanced. Orlando helped me and lead me to being what I am in IWC.
IWC: And any thoughts on the rumored new owner Sebastian Blake?
Mya: Can't answer that as I do not know.
IWC: Third viewer’s question and one I have to say made me laugh. Delia from Vancouver asks, with so many hot men in the IWC locker room, how do you stay faithful?
Mya: *laughs* It's not hard as most of them are married or have girlfriends.
IWC: And if you had to…who would you say is the best looking man in the IWC?
Mya: I still say that would be William Mason.
IWC: And to maintain the status quo…most beautiful woman?
Mya: Serenity!
IWC: OK, looking to the future, what does the future hold for Mya Denton?
Mya: Many Many fights, wars, and hopefully titles!
IWC: And with the exclusivity rumors that are flying around, would you say that your future is definitely with the IWC?
Mya: Yeah, I mean I am in other companies but IWC is home and I wouldn't have it any other way.
IWC: Do you think the roster would be trimmed quite a lot if the wrestlers were told they had to make a choice. After all, many like you wrestle elsewhere in the Triad?
Mya: I am sure they would but again I can't answer for them. I don't see how you can force someone to not wrestle at all. Yes I wrestle for ULW as well but so does Serenity, Willow, and others, are they all going to make us choose? Not a very wise business decision in my opinion
IWC: So…is it a bad thing or a good thing?
Mya: I would think if they made the choice for us it be bad thing.
IWC: We always like to end on this, I’ll say a name in the IWC, and you give me your thoughts on them. Ready?
Mya: Let's do this, it's my favorite part of Interrogation.
IWC: William Mason?
Mya: Ex-boyfriend but I still see him as a friend. We did hurt each other but I do respect the man, I hope he does the same.
IWC: Danny Darko?
Mya: A two face liar. One that I won't trust again
IWC: Katelyn Buehler?
Mya: A good friend and one hell of a fighter. I am proud to go to war with her any day of the week.
IWC: Silas Mason?
Mya: A snake in the grass that will do anything to get what he wants.
IWC: Vanilla Skyy?
Mya: A friend and hopefully still a stable mate.
IWC: And finally…Tina Valentine?
Mya: Crafty little bitch but still impressive.
IWC: Final viewers question Mya…Dean from Copenhagen asks, if you could play out your career again, what would be the one thing you would change. I guess what Dean is saying Mya is do you have any regrets?
Mya: We all have things we regret Dean and yes I do have things in the past that I do regret but I can't say that I would change my career to redo anything. All in all it will remain the same and if I did change it, who would say the results would be any different?
IWC: Thank you for taking the time Mya to answer our questions, I’m sure the fans have found it most informative
Mya: Not a problem, loved every minute of it.
IWC: In closing, the floor is yours…what do you have to say to the IWC on the whole? The wrestlers and the fans that pay their money?
Mya: IWC, thanks for the support and keep watching because you will never know what the hell I will be doing next. I got a lot of surprises up my sleeves.
IWC: Again, thank you Mya…join us again for the next Interrogation coming soon, when we will chat to none other than Scott Cannon…take care now
Mya: Thanks for having me Alan, hello to all those crazy IWC fans.
